Flat conveyor belts have the performance and structure quite same with the concave conveyor belts. However, the flat ones are not trough and instead have the fixed wallside on the conveyor belts’ frame.
In the industrial fields now, the flat conveyor belts are used widely and popularly. This conveying system help transfer the large amount of the goods from this position to the another quickly and conveniently. Besides, they also help save many costs including labor force, depreciation and foremost is the oppoturnity costs.
The moves of the flat conveyor belts are impacted by the active and passive rollers. It depends on the conveyor frame’s structure and the conveyed materials’ characteristics. In particular, the flat conveyor belts include:
- Conveyor frames: are often made by iron, steel anti-rust, or inox. In term of flat conveyor belts, the frames are added 2 wallsides to prevent the falling outside of the materials.
- Conveyor belts’ legs: are often added the wheels or the lifting system to easy move or adjust the height in need. Thus, it increases the convenience.
- Conveyor belts: are frequent rubber conveyor belts with different plies depend on the industrial/ agricultural fields. (flat/ chevron/ throne conveyor belts with 3,4,5, etc. plies)
- Motor: 1 or 3 phase power
- Roller: as mentioned above, the rollers keep the key role to help the conveyor belt move. The rollers are connected together by curoa belts. Based on that, all active rollers pass the pull force to each other. Some other conveyor belts use the passive rollers and 2 active rulo at 2 frame’s heads.
- Some other: reduce speed, controller system.
